When can I sign up? Registration opens on October 22 2024.

There are different price phases, so you can make a good deal, if you sign up early. Registration

Where can I sign up? You can press the "Registration" button you find on most of our pages.

Registration and purchases of transport etc. is all done through sportstiming.dk. Registration

What does it cost to participate? It depends on what route you attend.

See prices by visiting the pages for the individual routes or by clicking the "Registration" button, which you will find on many of the pages.

What do I get for my participation fee? You participate in one of Denmark's best and biggest cycling events, whether it's on the road, MTB or gravel along with 7,000 other likeminded cycling enthusiasts.

You also get incredible support, food and drinks along the way in Denmark's best feeding stations completely controlled by voluntary associations.

And when you arrive in Viborg, you will be stunned by the unique atmosphere riding a red carpet through the city center and ending up on the big square Paradepladsen along with all the other participants.

We also have Denmark's best route signage according to our participants.

Last but not least, you hopefully get a fantastic experience with 7,000 happy people.

Is the event timed? Yes, all participants receive a total time for the race.

Our focus is not on time, but the challenge and experiences along the way.

We will not announce any winners of Hærvejsløbet - The Viking Gran Fondo.

Is there catering along the way? To a very great extent.

Hærvejsløbet - The Viking Gran Fondo is known for its rich feeding stations with a varied and delicious selection of foods, snacks and drinks.

You are guaranteed not to hunger or thirst along the way.

Are the routes signed? Yes, all routes are signed - road, MTB and gravel.

And we are very focused on making sure the signage is top notch.

Participants from the previous years have praised the race signage.

Is there catering in the finish area in Viborg? Catering at the finish area in Viborg is not included in your entry fee.

It can be purchased in the finish area or added to your registration.

Is it possible to take a bath in Viborg after the race? Yes, there are bathroom and changing facilities in Viborg.

Can I park my bike in a safe place in Viborg? Yes, we have a secure bicycle parking with guards and numbering system.

This is included in your registration fee.

Is it possible to buy a complete package tour? Yes it is.

We collaborate with a number of international tour operators, who arrange group as well as individual travels including transport, accommodation, event registration etc.

Where should I stay? There are a number of different options of accommodation depending on, where you travel from and what route you're participating in.

How do I get to the event? No matter where you travel from, it's easy to get to the event.

What happens in case of a cancellation? Force majeure - unforeseeable and unavoidable catastrophes or events may cause us to delay or fully cancel the event.

If the event is cancelled before the day of the event, your registration will automatically be transferred to the next edition of the event. If the event is cancelled or stopped on the event day itself, your registration fee won't be returned.

At delays or cancellations we cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect losses, you may have had in relation to transport, accommodation etc.
